The opening and closing part of the steam gate valve is the gate plate. The movement direction of the gate plate is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The steam gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, and cannot be used for regulation and throttling. Steam gate valves are widely used in oil, chemical, water conservancy, thermal power plants and other oil and steam pipelines as opening and closing devices to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline.
