### **Technical Datasheet: Nickel 201 Wire (UNS N02201)**
#### **1. Product Overview**
**Nickel 201 Wire** is a low-carbon version of commercially pure nickel wire, specifically designed for high-temperature applications where resistance to grain-boundary carbide embrittlement is crucial. With a maximum carbon content of 0.02%, this wire maintains exceptional structural integrity in continuous service temperatures exceeding **315°C (600°F)**, making it superior to Nickel 200 wire for elevated temperature applications.
Available in diameters ranging from fine gauges for electrical applications to heavier diameters for mechanical components, Nickel 201 Wire combines excellent corrosion resistance with high-temperature stability. The material exhibits excellent ductility and can be supplied in various tempers from annealed (soft) to hard drawn for specific high-temperature application requirements.
#### **2. Chemical Composition (% Weight)**
Composition conforms to ASTM B160 for low-carbon nickel wire products.
