### **Product Introduction: Alloy 625 (Inconel 625) Tube // UNS N06625**
**Alloy 625** is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy renowned for its exceptional strength and superior corrosion resistance across a wide temperature range. The alloy's performance is driven by the solid-solution strengthening effect of molybdenum and niobium (columbium) within its nickel-chromium matrix, eliminating the need for precipitation hardening. This makes it exceptionally robust in both high-temperature and corrosive environments.
Supplied as **Tubing** (seamless and welded), this product form is engineered for critical applications involving the conveyance of fluids, gases, and use in structural components under extreme pressure, temperature, and corrosive conditions. It is widely known by the trade name **Inconel® 625** and is standardized as **UNS N06625**.

#### **1. Key Characteristics**
* **Exceptional Corrosion Resistance:** Outstanding resistance to a broad spectrum of corrosive media, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress-corrosion cracking.
* **High Strength at Elevated Temperatures:** Excellent tensile, creep, and rupture strength maintained from cryogenic temperatures up to 1800°F (980°C).
* **Superior Oxidation Resistance:** Provides excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling, ideal for high-temperature service.
* **Excellent Fabricability and Weldability:** Can be readily formed and welded using standard techniques without post-weld heat treatment to retain corrosion resistance, thanks to its niobium content that prevents sensitization.
