### **Product Datasheet: Alloy X / Hastelloy® X Wire (UNS N06002)** **Overview** **Alloy X**, commercially known as **Hastelloy® X**, is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy specifically engineered for extreme high-temperature service. Designated as **UNS N06002**, this solid-solution strengthened nickel-based alloy offers exceptional oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. The **wire** product form combines excellent high-temperature performance with superior fabricability, making it ideal for welding, fastening, and high-temperature component applications up to **1200°C (2200°F)**. --- ### **1. Packing of Standard Packing: Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities.
