Product Overview **MP35N** (UNS R30035) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy known for its unique combination of **ultra-high strength**, excellent corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties. The alloy achieves its exceptional mechanical properties through a combination of cold working and aging treatments, making it suitable for the most demanding applications in aerospace, medical, and oil and gas industries. --- ### 2. Heat Treatment **Solution Treatment:** - 1010–1065°C (1850–1950°F) - Rapid cooling (water quench) **Aging Treatment:** - 480–650°C (900–1200°F) - 4–8 hours at temperature --- ### 8. Fabrication Notes **Machining:** - Use carbide tools with positive rake angles - Moderate speeds with heavy feeds - Adequate coolant required **Welding:** - Not generally recommended for fusion welding - Resistance and friction welding possible with proper techniques **Cold Working:** - Excellent cold formability in annealed condition - Requires intermediate annealing for severe deformation --- ### 9. Packing of Standard Packing: Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 2274 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
