        **Product Introduction: INCONEL® 718 (UNS N07718) Centri-Vac™ Nickel-Based Superalloy**
**Overview**
INCONEL® 718 (UNS N07718) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy containing significant amounts of niobium, molybdenum, and iron. The "Centri-Vac" designation typically refers to components manufactured through specialized centrifugal casting and vacuum melting processes, resulting in superior metallurgical quality and performance. This alloy is renowned for its exceptional combination of high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and outstanding fabricability. A key advantage of Alloy 718 is its ability to be precipitation hardened to very high strength levels without post-weld heat treatment cracking, making it indispensable for the most demanding applications in aerospace, oil & gas, and power generation industries.
