### **Product Introduction: INCONEL® 713 (IN 713) UNS N07713 Centri-Vac Nickel-Based Superalloy** **Overview** INCONEL® 713 (IN 713) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy specifically developed for high-temperature structural applications. When manufactured using the "Centri-Vac" process - combining centrifugal casting with vacuum melting - the alloy achieves exceptional metallurgical quality and mechanical properties. This alloy is characterized by its excellent high-temperature strength, outstanding creep resistance, and good castability, making it particularly suitable for critical rotating components in gas turbine engines operating at elevated temperatures. --- #### **Chemical Composition (Typical % by Weight)** | Element | Content (%) | Role & Benefit | |---------|-------------|---------------| | **Nickel (Ni)** | Balance | Matrix former | | **Chromium (Cr)** | 11.0 - 14.0 | Oxidation resistance | | **Molybdenum (Mo)** | 3.5 - 5.5 | Solid solution strengthening | | **Niobium (Nb)** | 1.5 - 2.5 | Precipitation hardening | | **Titanium (Ti)** | 0.3 - 0.7 | γ' formation | | **Aluminum (Al)** | 5.5 - 6.5 | Primary γ' former (Ni₃Al) | | **Cobalt (Co)** | ≤1.0 | Residual element | | **Carbon (C)** | 0.05 - 0.15 | Carbide formation | | **Boron (B)** | 0.005 - 0.015 | Grain boundary strengthening | | **Zirconium (Zr)** | 0.05 - 0.15 | Creep improvement | *Note: "INCONEL" is a registered trademark.
